We are very heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Mooney as of 11/13/2024. This is very heavy on our hearts and always will be. She was truly one in a million for many, many reasons. She is unreplaceable. She gifted us with 3 amazing foals by Clay in the 4 (much to short) years of owning her. Mooney passed from a very rare conduction involving her liver, she showed no signs up to her death and unfortunately there is even no testing for it.
We will miss Mooney dearly and will always have a spot in our hearts for her.
Mooney is a 2016 model. We came across her in 2021 and we had to scoop her up as fast as possible! 1st who doesn't love a good grulla?! And when we went to go see her we knew right away she was going to fit into our program perfectly. Her personality is so sweet and she's such a quiet soul and even being a Quarter Horse she only stand 14H so being on the smaller size is even nicer. We are excited to see her first foal from clay in 2022 mid summer! Fingers crossed for grulla with a blanket! Either way we know she is going to give us something awesome every year! Can't wait to see what the future holds for this one!
